The foundation of Fortune Group was laid with the production of concrete underpinning steel bars. Bhagwan Das Bansal, Chairman of Fortune Group, is the true strength of the company, converting all odds into an opportunity in disguise.

With the head office in Ludhiana, Fortune has its manufacturing units at places famous for their rich iron ores and ferrous alloy deposits like, Raipur, Chhattisgarh and Mandi Govindgarh. Surpassing the prevailing standards of this segment, Fortune has an installed capacity of 3 lakhs meter per annum and fully equipped all mod-con facilities. The group firmly believes in the motto of ‘National Development’. The pursuit of personal growth is wrapped with the growth of country as well.

Extending its wings in the Indian market through increasing its base of dealers and distributors, Fortune promises quality with its high end technology in production for maximum workability and cost effectiveness. Working on the Blue Ocean strategy, Mr. Bhagwan Das Bansal has built up a strong team including Mr. Deep Bansal as Managing Director, Mr. Ashwani Goyal, Mr. Saurabh Bansal , CA R.N.Singla and Mr. Subodh Sharma as Directors. Applicability of CSR

Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 (Hereinafter referred to as “Act”) mandates the qualifying Companies to constitute its CSR Committee to monitor CSR activities of the Company. Further, the Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility) Rules, 2014 lays down the framework and modalities of carrying out CSR activities which are specified in Schedule VII of the Act.

CSR Committee

CSR Committee shall be constituted as per provisions of section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 and shall be responsible for the implementation/monitoring and review of the policy and various activities to be undertaken under the policy.

Scope of the Policy and its Implementation

This policy covers current as well as proposed CSR activities to be undertaken by the Fortune Group Companies and examines their alignment with the Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013 as amended from time to time.

Fortune Group Companies propose to undertake the following activities under its CSR program:

  1. Eradicating hunger, poverty and malnutritionin the vicinity of its plants.
  2. Promoting preventive healthcare, sanitation and make available safe drinking water.
  3. Promoting education for all with a special focus on disabled/economically weak children and girl child.
  4. Use environment friendly and safe processes in production.
  5. Sponsoring and supporting rural developments project.
  6. Promotion of rural sports.
  7. Promotion of CSR Programmes.

The Companies will review the activities from time to time and make the necessary additions/deletions/clarifications to the above activities. The time period/duration of each program shall depend on its nature.
